Our caring teachers welcome children into safe and prepared classroom environments each day. They function as supportive and wise guardians, observing and working with children individually or collectively.

Parents are an integral part of The Pouch life. Whether they are grabbing a cup of coffee at drop-off, attending evening music classes with their child, or helping out with the “kids night out” and book fair events, their presence and engagement is critical for the dynamics of the school.

Our community embraces not only parents, but siblings, grandparents caregivers and any significant others to the life of the children in our care.

We are in awe of the amount of time, talent, and goodwill bestowed so freely by our parent community. We embrace grandparent read aloud, diverse cultural celebrations and parent professional involvement.
